Self Assessment and the Value
of Project Management Training

There is a saying in the training world that “learning hasn’t taken place until behaviors change.” This is certainly true for adopting the project management method in an organization.

Time and again we have seen that, for an organization to be broadly successful at project management, individuals at all levels of the organization must progress up the learning/ behavior chain shown on the left.

In this section, and in the rest of the course, we are going to emphasize the behaviors that are involved in applying the project management method; and we will demonstrate that changing behavior is what leads to lasting results and improving project management effectiveness in an organization.
