Control of Quality – Indicators of project quality
Project Quality means that the project meets all the specifications and requirements written into the final objectives and agreed by all stakeholders. You need defined objectives for each deliverable, generally down to the bottom of the WBS. Incomplete or undocumented objectives create the opportunity for defects in your deliverables. Be sure to include expectations about resources and timelines in your objectives statements to satisfy the triple constraint: delivered results, schedule, and cost.

One measure of project quality is the number of defects introduced during project execution. The best indicators of defects are listed to the right. Remember that the variables of quality, time, and cost are interdependent. If quality is affected, the other two are also affected.
