Project Reporting: examples
This example is a task leader’s report for an important component on an aircraft. Note that after the header information, there are three report sections.

The first section shows a Gantt chart of summary level tasks. It has a vertical line indicating the report date and shaded bars showing qualitative progress.

The second chart is an earned value chart showing PV and EV. Notice that there is a small gap between the two indicating that the task is a little behind schedule.

The third section is a table showing all the quantitative data. It has data fields that are refreshed at any time from a master MIS data base. The task leader uses these data to change the two charts each month, and the report takes only about five minutes to prepare.
