Project Reporting – the communication plan
A Communications plan documents the communication strategy for the project and describes:

  • Which information flows from whom, when, via which media, and in what format

  • Methods to collect, consolidate, report, distribute, store, and retrieve information

  • “Communications infrastructure” for the project (who may talk to whom)

  • Problem escalation procedure

  • Schedule for information collection and distribution.

  • Meetings planned (schedule and attendees)

  • Method for updating the communication plan
