Building
the Baseline: Step 2 – Develop a cost estimate for each
work package and distribute the costs across the time period
based on the work plan
In
this example, we estimate that task A will take 100 hours
to complete and that tasks B and C will each take 200
hours to complete, for a total cost baseline (in labor
hours) of 500 hours.
We
will distribute the cost estimate for each work package
evenly across two weeks, but that may not always be the
case on your projects.
