Determining the critical path: In summary

1. Add all activity duration estimates from left to right (earliest completion time) and record above the nodes.
   
   
2. Subtract all activity duration estimates from right to left (latest completion time) and record below the nodes.
   
   
3. The critical path is that chain of events where there is no slack – the earliest and latest times are the same
