Celebration of World Environment Day

In commemoration of World Environment Day on 5^th Jun, 2016, RGKZNA implemented Tree Plantation Program by planting trees at its own power plant’s premise and surroundings in Hlawga, Yangon as positive attitude towards protecting the environment.

As a member of United Nations Global Compact, this program is also in-line with one of the focused areas in Global Compact’s ten principles; supporting a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, undertaking initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility and encouraging the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
